Viparis is proud to be associated with the world's biggest sporting event, which will be held 100 years after the Olympic Games were first organised in Paris, and one year before the centenary celebration of Paris Expo Porte de Versailles.

Paris 2024 will thus be able to draw on Viparis' world-renowned expertise in the management and operation of venues for events, conventions, exhibitions and trade shows.

Paris Expo Porte de Versailles becomes Arena Paris Sud

With 3 pavilions (1, 4 and 6) dedicated to the Games, the Arena Paris Sud will host the volleyball, boccia, table tennis, para tennis, goalball, handball and weightlifting events. Located 15 minutes from the Eiffel Tower, the grounds are a vibrant and lively venue, with over 210,000 m² of exhibition space and 7 pavilions.

Paris Nord Villepinte becomes Arena Paris Nord

The Arena Paris Nord will host the boxing preliminaries, the modern pentathlon fencing event and the seated volleyball events. With 250,000 sq. m. of modular indoor space in 9 halls and 360,000 sq. m. of outdoor space, it is France's largest exhibition centre.

Palais des Congrès de Paris becomes the Main Press Center

The Main Press Centre (MPC) will welcome the 6,000 accredited members of the international media. They will have access to a dedicated press and photo room, a photo service center, interview rooms, catering facilities, relaxation areas and private offices for international agencies and National Olympic Committees.

Paris Le Bourget becomes the IBC (International Broadcast Center)

This is where all the images from the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games will be gathered, to be processed and then transmitted around the world. The facility will operate 24 hours a day and will be home to more than 10,000 journalists, technicians and staff serving the Paris 2024 Games.
