3CVD

For the first time in decades, all specialties of visceral and digestive surgery are coming together for a joint congress. The "3CVD", short for the Joint Congress of Visceral and Digestive Surgery, is becoming a reality, offering a unique opportunity for our disciplines, often isolated, to enrich each other through the advancements made by each. In a context where visceral and digestive surgery is undergoing a major transformation, especially with the emergence of robotic surgery and artificial intelligence, a cross-disciplinary approach is becoming essential. This initiative could even, in the future, bring together all specialties involved in interventional procedures that concern us.

The 2025 edition will take place from September 16 to 20 in Paris, at CNIT, an ideal venue for work, exchanges, and conviviality. Over five days, the program will mainly consist of joint plenary sessions for all learned societies, while also reserving specific moments for each specialty. Designed to become an annual event, the 3CVD may, in future editions, move to cities ready to host it.
