Just 20 years after the release of Light For The People, the album that introduced her to French audiences, 

Korean singer Youn Sun Nah releases her new opus titled Waking World at the end of

January 2022, the first for which she has written all the lyrics and music :

 11 songs faithful to the different universesof her discography, borrowing sometimes from jazz, pop, folk

and world music and revealing new cinematic and poetic dimensions. 

Even more than on his previous records, the groove of this one is imbued with his own story.

An unpublished repertoire that she revisits on stage with an equally unpublished band, with a formation

 voice-bass-guitars-keyboards.American Brad Christopher Jones crosses strings and souls with

compatriots Thomas Naïm and Tony Paeleman. Each is equipped with his instrument in its acoustic version and its counterpart

electric, suggesting that the changing climates unique to Youn Sun Nah's performances will be more than ever on display!
